Dear Mother in law,

On your birthday I would like to cherish memories we have made so far and also aspiring to make more richer and brighter experiences in the coming years.

From the day you met me, you embraced me as part of your family.

Your warm smile, an aura of care you shower to the family is pure.

My nose and tongue twitches like a dog when I am around the dishes cooked by you. Drawing in deep breaths for your rich coastal inescapable aromatic cuisines. No wonder you will make me a fat bear, that being said you like it to be.😂

You encourage the younger generation in the family to reach the noble realms in life.

I understand you married 35 years ago, having no freedom to study what you liked, but I thank you for encouraging your daughter in law to explore her true self.

Marrying your son, came along with the bonus of two supporting hands in all aspects, which would not be possible without your life lessons to him.

Coming from a different culture and thought process community, you kept both the families intact with your love and humility.

Thank you for embracing all the flaws I have, and being a more kind mother and making sure that I don’t experience the grief.

I wish you all the happiness, health and wealth. And we promise to responsibly keep you happy and proud.

Happy birthday once again!

With love,

Your DIL
